Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods, payment processing procedures, payment security measures and related conditions applicable to purchases made through the online store operated by Calculator v/Lone H la Cour.

Please review this Payment Policy before completing a purchase.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

1. Company Information

The online store is operated by:

Business name: Calculator v/Lone H la Cour
CVR number: 27295304
P-number: 1010035046

Registered business address:
Asgård 23

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently support the following payment methods for eligible orders:

✓ PayPal

Customers may pay securely using PayPal where PayPal is displayed as an available payment method during checkout.

✓ Cash on Delivery (COD)

Customers may pay when their parcel is delivered where Cash on Delivery is available for the relevant destination and order.

Available payment methods may vary depending on:

  • Customer location;

  • Destination country;

  • Currency;

  • Product;

  • Order value;

  • Delivery method;

  • Delivery carrier; and

  • Payment provider availability.

Only payment methods displayed during checkout are available for the relevant order.

3. Payment & Security

We aim to provide a clear and secure checkout process.

✓ PayPal Payment
Payments may be completed through PayPal's payment infrastructure.

✓ Cash on Delivery
Eligible customers may pay upon delivery where COD is available.

✓ Secure Checkout
Payments are completed through the payment method selected during checkout.

✓ Privacy Protected
Payment-related personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

✓ Order Verification
Certain transactions may be reviewed to reduce fraudulent, unauthorized or incorrect orders.

✓ Order Confirmation
Customers will normally receive confirmation after successfully submitting an order.

4. PayPal Payments

Where PayPal is available, customers may select PayPal during checkout.

When PayPal is selected, you may be redirected to PayPal or use an integrated PayPal checkout process to complete payment.

PayPal may require you to:

  • Sign in to your PayPal account;

  • Select or confirm a funding source;

  • Verify your identity;

  • Approve the transaction; or

  • Complete additional security checks.

Payment information processed directly by PayPal is subject to PayPal's own terms, privacy policies and security procedures.

Calculator v/Lone H la Cour does not require access to your PayPal password or PayPal login credentials.

An order paid through PayPal will normally proceed after the payment has been successfully authorized, verified or confirmed.

5. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Where available, customers may choose Cash on Delivery (COD) during checkout.

With Cash on Delivery, payment is made when the parcel is delivered.

Depending on the destination and delivery carrier, payment may need to be made:

  • In cash;

  • In the exact amount requested by the carrier; or

  • Using another payment method accepted by the local carrier.

The available payment method at delivery depends on the local delivery provider.

Cash on Delivery may not be available for every:

  • Country;

  • Region;

  • Postal code;

  • Product;

  • Order value; or

  • Delivery method.

If Cash on Delivery is not available for your order, the option will not normally appear during checkout.

6. Cash on Delivery Verification

Certain COD orders may be subject to additional verification before processing or dispatch.

Verification may include confirmation of:

  • Customer name;

  • Telephone number entered during checkout;

  • Delivery address;

  • Order details;

  • Product quantity; and

  • Intention to accept the parcel.

This process is intended to reduce:

  • Incorrect addresses;

  • Fraudulent orders;

  • Duplicate orders; and

  • Failed deliveries.

If an order cannot reasonably be verified, processing or dispatch may be delayed until the relevant information can be confirmed.

7. Refusing a Cash on Delivery Parcel

If you no longer wish to receive a COD order, you should request cancellation as soon as reasonably possible before the parcel is dispatched.

Once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched, operational cancellation may no longer be possible.

Repeated refusal of COD parcels without a legitimate reason may result in Cash on Delivery being restricted for future orders where permitted by law.

This does not limit any applicable statutory:

  • Cancellation rights;

  • Withdrawal rights;

  • Return rights;

  • Refund rights; or

  • Consumer protection rights.

8. Payment Authorization

Submitting payment information or choosing a payment method does not by itself mean that an order has been finally accepted.

For prepaid transactions, payment may need to be successfully:

  • Authorized;

  • Verified; and

  • Confirmed

before an order can proceed.

We may reasonably delay, decline or cancel an order where:

  • Payment cannot be verified;

  • Payment authorization fails;

  • The transaction appears unauthorized;

  • Fraudulent activity is reasonably suspected;

  • Order details are materially inconsistent;

  • Delivery information cannot be verified;

  • A payment provider rejects the transaction; or

  • Processing the transaction would violate applicable law.

Where payment has already been collected for an order that is subsequently cancelled, an appropriate refund will be provided in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

9. Payment Security

We take reasonable measures designed to provide a secure purchasing environment.

Online payments made through third-party payment services are processed using the systems and security procedures of those providers.

For your security:

  • Never send your PayPal password to us;

  • Never provide account passwords through unsecured messages;

  • Never send complete confidential login credentials;

  • Confirm that you are using the correct checkout before entering payment information; and

  • Review your order before confirming payment.

We will never require your PayPal password in order to process an order, refund or customer service request.

10. Order Confirmation

After successfully placing an order, customers will normally receive an order confirmation using the contact information supplied during checkout.

The confirmation may include:

  • Order number;

  • Products ordered;

  • Product quantity;

  • Total order amount;

  • Selected payment method;

  • Delivery information; and

  • Other relevant transaction details.

Please review your order confirmation carefully.

If you identify incorrect information, you should notify us as soon as possible using the customer service options available through our online store.

11. Prices and Currency

Product prices and the applicable currency will be displayed through the online store.

The final amount payable will normally be displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

Depending on your location, currency and payment provider, your bank or payment service provider may independently apply:

  • Currency conversion;

  • Exchange-rate adjustments;

  • Foreign transaction charges; or

  • Other payment-provider fees.

Such third-party fees are outside our direct control.

12. Taxes and Additional Charges

Applicable taxes and charges will be displayed during checkout where required and reasonably possible.

Orders delivered across national borders may also be subject to:

  • VAT;

  • Customs duties;

  • Import taxes;

  • Customs clearance fees;

  • Handling fees; or

  • Other charges imposed by authorities in the destination country.

Where such charges are included in the purchase price, this will be reflected during checkout.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, charges imposed independently by customs or other authorities may be the customer's responsibility.

Please review our Shipping and Delivery Policy for additional information about customs and import-related charges.

13. Failed or Declined Payments

A PayPal payment or other online payment may fail or be declined because of:

  • Insufficient funds;

  • Account restrictions;

  • Incorrect payment information;

  • Identity or security verification;

  • Fraud-prevention controls;

  • Payment-provider restrictions;

  • Transaction limits; or

  • Temporary technical issues.

Where payment is rejected independently by a payment provider, we generally cannot override that provider's decision.

If a payment fails, customers may use another payment method displayed during checkout where available.

14. Duplicate Payments

If you believe that you have been charged more than once for the same order, please report the issue promptly using the customer service method available through the online store.

You may be asked to provide:

  • Full name;

  • Order number;

  • Contact information used for the order;

  • Payment date;

  • Amount charged; and

  • Relevant transaction information.

Do not provide passwords or confidential account login credentials.

We will review the available transaction information and take appropriate action where a duplicate payment is confirmed.

15. Refunds

Refunds are processed in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

PayPal Refunds

Where an order was paid through PayPal, an approved refund will normally be returned through the original PayPal transaction or another legally appropriate method.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear may depend on PayPal, banks or other financial service providers.

Cash on Delivery Refunds

For COD transactions, the original payment was collected at delivery rather than through an online payment transaction.

As a result, an approved COD refund may require a different refund method.

Where necessary, additional information may be requested to arrange an appropriate refund.

Customers should never provide complete bank-account passwords, payment-account passwords or other confidential login credentials.

Statutory refund rights remain unaffected.

16. Order Cancellation and Payment Refunds

If an order is cancelled before dispatch and payment has already been collected, the applicable amount will normally be refunded.

If an order has already been processed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be operationally possible.

The customer may instead need to exercise an applicable:

  • Statutory withdrawal right; or

  • Return right under our Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.

17. Fraud Prevention

We may perform reasonable transaction checks designed to prevent:

  • Unauthorized purchases;

  • Identity misuse;

  • Payment fraud;

  • False Cash on Delivery orders;

  • Account abuse;

  • Duplicate or suspicious transactions; and

  • Other fraudulent activity.

Where we have reasonable grounds to suspect unauthorized or fraudulent activity, we may:

  • Temporarily hold an order;

  • Request additional confirmation;

  • Delay fulfilment;

  • Reject a transaction; or

  • Cancel the order.

These measures are intended to protect customers, payment providers, delivery partners and our business.

Any fraud-prevention processing of personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

18. Payment Information and Privacy

Personal information relating to payments and transactions is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Depending on the payment method selected, payment-related information may be shared where necessary with:

  • PayPal;

  • Banks or payment service providers;

  • Delivery companies;

  • Cash on Delivery service providers;

  • Fraud-prevention providers;

  • Shopify;

  • Technical service providers; and

  • Other parties reasonably necessary to complete or secure a transaction.

Payment-related information may be used for legitimate purposes including:

  • Processing payments;

  • Managing orders;

  • Processing COD transactions;

  • Preventing fraud;

  • Processing refunds;

  • Maintaining transaction records; and

  • Complying with applicable legal, accounting or tax obligations.

19. Third-Party Payment Providers

Third-party payment providers such as PayPal operate independently and may apply their own:

  • Terms of service;

  • Privacy policies;

  • Security procedures;

  • Account restrictions;

  • Transaction limits; and

  • Dispute procedures.

We do not control every decision made independently by a payment provider.

If a payment provider restricts or rejects your transaction, you may need to contact that provider directly regarding the provider's account or payment decision.

20. Payment Safety

For safer online shopping, customers should:

  • Complete payments only through the checkout process provided by our online store or the official PayPal payment process;

  • Never send passwords through unsecured communication channels;

  • Never provide PayPal login credentials to customer support;

  • Review the amount before confirming payment;

  • Review the selected currency;

  • Check your delivery information;

  • Keep order and payment confirmations; and

  • Report suspicious payment activity promptly.

21. Returns and Charge Reversals

If you believe there is a problem with:

  • A product;

  • An order;

  • A duplicate payment;

  • A delivery;

  • A refund; or

  • A transaction,

we encourage you to first use the customer service options available through our online store so that the matter can be reviewed.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising any lawful rights or remedies available through a payment provider, financial institution or applicable law.

22. Changes to This Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time because of:

  • Changes to available payment methods;

  • Changes to PayPal services;

  • Changes to COD availability;

  • Changes to payment providers;

  • Security developments;

  • Fraud-prevention requirements;

  • Legal or regulatory changes; or

  • Other legitimate operational reasons.

The current version will be published through our online store with an updated revision date.

Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory consumer rights connected with an order already completed.

23. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Payment Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law.

Where applicable law provides more favorable rights than this policy, the mandatory legal requirements will apply.
